letter from Larry
I have had people ask me, "Larry, why did you go into real estate? Why should I work with ComeBuyAHouse.com and BuyerTours Realty?" There are so many agents. I want to let you know why you should pick us to help you with your real estate business. I don’t mind competition, I rise to its top. I believe that developing and maintaining relationships with my clients is key. I've learned this through years in sales and management: 17 years at Nordstrom (twice Customer Service All-Star Award winner--a once quarterly regional award) and 8 years managing stores for Mills Music. My wife, Lynette, was in real estate when we met, and with my own current and past family business, it took little to sway me. I have been in real estate about a year ... officially. Lynette was the managing broker of The Real Estate Group in south Everett where she managed 30- 40 agents in an integrated real estate and mortgage business model, with escrow and property management. She is licensed as a loan officer and real estate broker. When we married 2 yrs ago she saw the potential of creating a new real estate team with me, "ComeBuyAHouse.com". Together with BuyerTours Realty, a tech savvy, cutting edge real estate company, we offer a full array of real estate services from buyer agency to refinances. My father Elmer Baumgartner was a CPA and because of an entrepreneurial spirit, some like-minded associates and probably my grandmother Mabel’s persuasion, a partner in several development corporations. The Mainroads Corporation developed some pivotal land on the eastside in the early 60’s. One became the Crossroads Mall and another at 148th and Main then known as the Mainroads Mall. The family business that is the historical basis of my knowledge and passion for real
estate comes from my grandmother, Mabel L. Robison. A grad of University
of Washington in 1911, she then studied real estate law and in 1914 passed the
bar and joined in practice with William S. Robison and Co. Real Estate, Seattle.
My grandparents specialized in land trades, 50 acres in the heartland for 5
acres in the Northwest. Various interesting items of value were paid
as commission including the Ferry “The Mercer” which became the family boat.
